Terms of Use

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract or have parent or guardian consent where required. You are responsible for account credentials, activity under your account, and keeping information accurate.

2. Registrations, fees & refunds

Third-party platforms may process event registrations and donations. Posted fees are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Refunds, transfers, and waitlists follow the specific event and platform policy. SPA may modify, cancel, or reschedule events due to weather, safety, facility availability, or other circumstances and will communicate options where feasible.

3. Volunteers & conduct

Volunteers must follow SPA lead and venue staff instructions and all safety rules. Harassment, discrimination, and unsafe conduct are not tolerated. SPA may reassign shifts, change roles, or end participation to protect safety and program quality.

4. Event policies

Participants must follow USA Pickleball rules where applicable, venue requirements, and local law. Event staff may adjust brackets or schedules for fair play and safety. Athletic activity has inherent risk; participants should consult a physician about readiness.

5. Sponsors & vendors

Activation details such as booth placement, signage, power, and load-in are arranged with SPA or venue management. Sponsors and vendors are responsible for required permits, insurance, laws, and venue rules. SPA may approve or decline requests and creative materials.

6. User content & media

By submitting messages, photos, forms, or other content, you represent that you have the right to share it and grant SPA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with SPA programs and communications. Events may be photographed or recorded. Contact SPA with media concerns, and it will try to accommodate reasonable requests.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not hack, scrape, automate abuse, spam, or distribute malware.
• Do not post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing content.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent an affiliation with SPA.

8. Intellectual property

The SPA name, logos, graphics, text, and site design are protected by intellectual-property law. Except as permitted by law or written consent, they may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used to create derivative works.

9. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how SPA collects, uses, and shares information. Use of SPA services is subject to that policy.

10. Disclaimers

SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SPA DISCLAIMS EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SPA does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free services.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPA AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPA and its representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the services or violation of these terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law & venue

Arizona law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in state and federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona.

14. Changes to these terms

SPA may update these terms. The effective date identifies the latest version. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
